In 1988, the original founder, Yataro Horikiri, established Sakura Hobby Craft in the United States with his joy and passion to share the Fun of Creativities with craft kits, not only easy and fun, but also durable and practical in using our daily lives. Mixing with oriental cultures, products started sell throughout the United States. In 1992, company introduced the first of the kind in the market, US patented, 3D Crystal Lacquer. Yataro’s successor, Hiro Nakano, who is the current president of company developed 3D Crystal Lacquer as well known nowadays to the world. Now 3D Crystal Lacquer has many varieties of colors, different usages and constantly developing its quality. Based on the spirits of Fun of Creativities, Sharing the joy of quality lives, Sakura Hobby Craft is joyfully creating many more innovative and exciting crafts projects and kits with passions and love.
